A change of pace for John Michael Talbot, Pathways to Wisdom is a soothing, contemplative collection of new age music with a CCM twist. There's an underlying spirituality to Talbot's layered instrumentals. His classical guitar takes center stage, naturally, but the wordless backing vocals and interwoven keyboards and percussion gives the music its context, making it the unique CCM experience that it is. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
