Meet Jim Elliot: A man of valor.

This young Oregonian was a student of Greek, a college wrestling champion, and an outstanding speakera man with a burning passion to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Jim Elliots aspirations took him to the unreachedand seemingly unreachableAuca tribe in the jungles of Ecuador. When the primitive people attacked and killed Elliot and his four companions, it appeared their mission had failed. But in time, God would use the mens sacrifice to bring many Aucas to faithand encourage other Americans to go to other mission fields.
His dramatic story will challenge you to follow the apostle Pauls words in Romans 12:1:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

This easy-reading, novelized biography, second in the Men of Valor series, details Jim Elliots life and ministry, and the sacrifices he made in commitment to God. Youll be inspired to follow his example, as he followed the example of Christ. 208 pages, softcover.
