Alisa chooses to worship God and is grateful for what he does in her life, despite the setbacks. At her young age, she has already had to deal with the loss of the tragic death of her father, a three-year illness due to Lyme disease and the loss of her son London, who died in her arms 71 minutes after his birth. 'Miracle Or Not' is the first full-fledged album to be released worldwide. Five of the thirteen songs were already on the EP and she also uses covers of Travis Ryan ('Forever Holy') and Jesus Culture ('Miracles', which surprisingly was chosen as the first single). But there are also six new songs on it, including a duet with Leslie Jordan of All Sons & Daughters. Alisa wrote many songs together with Michael Farren, the former singer of Pocket Full Of Rocks.
