Throughout history, great leaders have exhorted the Church to repent and return to the righteousness of God and the power of His Spirit. Edward McKendree Bounds, born in 1835 in Shelbyville, Missouri, was such a man. Bounds' writings serve as warning to the modern Church: if the people of God turn their backs on the righteousness of God, the power of God will not be operative within their lives or within the church .This book provides relevant information on key church topics by E. M. Bounds, the Prophet of Prayer. It is set up in such a way that the reader can quickly reference each subject. Through this book we have the opportunity to compare history with the present.
